Another daily Cinema 4D experiment. It was purposefully constructed to loop so I could make it into a gif. Enjoy!
Messin' Around
Just testing some things in C4D after being inspired and a bit confounded by Omnidaily on Tumblr. Got a ways to go though
Sneak Peak!
Sneak peak! This past weekend I had the opportunity (and the pleasure) of working on a music video shoot with a couple of great friends. There's still plenty of work to be done but the shoot has wrapped!
Edge City v1.2
Inspired by Alex Andreev's "Edge City" piece, which you can find here.
Rendered in C4D's Physical renderer without GI. Environment created in World Machine, while the city and blimp props were modeled in Cinema. Created and pumped this test render out over a 24 hour period. Still some noise in the reflections to buff out. Hopefully I'll get to run this through Octane in the future!
New Demo Reel
Dome Thing
Modeled in World Machine and Cinema 4D, Rendered in Octane. Inspired by the concept art "Dome" by Syllo Credits: Art Director - CJ Cook
New Logo
Created using Cinema 4D and World Machine, rendered with Octane, comped in After Effects.
Hannibal title sequence
All assets and simulation created by me entirely in Cinema 4D and rendered in Octane. This title piece was made for a supercut demonstrating the use of symmetry as a device within the Hannibal television show. It was a lot of fun to make and learn some Octane!
The full video featuring the titles can be seen below! Check it!
Tiger lilies in octane!
Octane Render Test
Jupiter
Cube 1.2
Today's piece is rendered raw from C4D and based on a piece of concept art by Ruslan Safarov.
STRING THEORY
Decided to try and do a quick recreation of one of my favorite pieces: the cover of H.U.V.A. Network's album "Distances." Had a lot of fun messing around with volume lights, sub polygon displacement and particle trails to make this one!
Collision Course
Decided to try and do something similar to Ben Young's sculptures today. Learned a lot about caustics, Booles and faking subsurface on the Iceburg with the Chamlum shader.
VW Squareback Day 3
Sunshine
Squareback!
Day 2 has shown immense progress on the 1970 VW Squareback! Modeled in Cinema 4D, this beauty should be purring and in the texturing process by the end of the week! There are big plans for this cutie and I'm excited for the weeks to come and the tests that will be run :D
